O β€˜ICT for Quality Learning Toolkit’ , na versΓ£o em portuguΓͺs designado β€œTIC para o processo e instrumentos de aprendizagem. Volume I – Escolas” oferece a decisores polΓ­ticos e a profissionais de educaΓ§Γ£o estratΓ©gias em etapas exequΓ­veis para desenhar, testar e implementar as Tecnologias da InformaΓ§Γ£o e da ComunicaΓ§Γ£o (TIC) contextualizadas, com foco na melhoria da qualidade da aprendizagem de crianΓ§as e jovens.

Os volumes I e II foram encomendados pela UNICEF Γ  FundaΓ§Γ£o Aga Khan (AKF) que os desenvolveu atravΓ©s de um processo de Human Centered Design, levado a cabo na África subsariana, com lΓ­deres escolares, professores e parceiros educativos. O novo Β β€˜ICT for Quality Learning Toolkit’ operacionaliza os 10 princΓ­pios para a melhoria da aprendizagem atravΓ©s do uso das TIC definidas no relatΓ³rio da autoria da UNICEF/AKF Raising Learning Outcomes – the opportunities and challenges of ICT for learningΒ Β (UNICEF, 2018).

O recurso Γ© crΓ­tico para qualquer decisor polΓ­tico, profissional ou investigador interessado em garantir que os contextos em que vivem as crianΓ§as e jovens possam ser efetivamente integrados quando se desenham, testam e implementam soluΓ§Γ΅es tecnolΓ³gicas aplicadas Γ  educaΓ§Γ£o para que estas promovam a equidade no acesso e no sucesso na aprendizagem de crianΓ§as e jovens.

The β€˜ICT for Quality Learning Toolkit’ offers educational policy makers and local practitioners with actionable steps about how best to design, test, and implement new contextually relevant EdTech solutions that focus on improving quality learning outcomes for children and young people.

Commissioned by UNICEF, Volumes I and II were developed by AKF through a Human-Centred Design process with local school leaders, teachers, and education partners throughout sub-Saharan Africa. The new global β€˜ICT for Quality Learning Toolkit’ operationalises 10 principles about how best to improve learning outcomes through EdTech, as outlined in the UNICEF/AKF global report, Raising Learning Outcomes – the opportunities and challenges of ICT for learningΒ  (UNICEF, 2018).

The resource is critical for any policy maker, practitioner, or researcher interested in ensuring contextual realities are not only considered, but effectively integrated into the design, testing, and implementation of how EdTech solutions can best address gaps in learning outcomes for children and young people.
